High School: Boom comes to Tech from Eastern High School in Kentucky, where she played middle blocker for Laura Bowling… Finished her senior season with 381 kills, 136 total blocks (96 solo), and 22 service aces… named all-state honorable mention as a junior and all-state second team following her senior season… earned the team’s Eastern Eagle Award and was named Offensive MVP… played club volleyball for the Kiva club team.
