In 2016 (Freshman): Thomas led the Golden Eagles in kills with 219 on the year...played in all 29 of Tech's matches, including 27 starts...ended the season with 2.13 kills per set, 50 digs, and 48 blocks (second-best mark on the team) over 103 sets...notched a career-high 15 kills in the Golden Eagle's OVC opener versus Eastern Kentucky on Sept. 23...tallied a season-high eight digs versus Belmont (11/5) and a career-high five blocks at UAB (9/27), which she tied on two other occasions...ended the season with a .150 hitting percentage...totaled double-digit kills in seven different matches.

With tournament play behind them, the Tennessee Tech volleyball team (4-9, 0-0 OVC) will begin their Ohio Valley Conference slate on Friday-Saturday with contests versus Eastern Kentucky (5-7, 0-0 OVC) and Morehead State (4-9, 0-0 OVC).
MOSCOW, Idaho – The Tennessee Tech volleyball team (4-7) opened up play at the Idaho Volleyball Classic Thursday evening, falling to Oregon State (5-4) on the opening day of the event, 3-0. The Beavers defeated the Golden Eagles by finals set scores of 25-10, 25-12 and 25-22.

The Tennessee Tech volleyball team (4-5) split games on day two of the Blue Raider Bash. The Golden Eagles fell to Illinois State (5-5) 3-0 with the Redbirds taking winning set scores of 25-12, 25-13, and 25-13. Later that evening, Middle Tennessee defeated Tech 3-2 with set scores of 20-25, 25-23, 25-23, and 7-25, and 15-7.
The Tennessee Tech volleyball team (4-4) fell to Seton Hall (4-4) on day one of the Blue Raider Bash in Murfreesboro, Tenn. The Pirates defeated the Golden Eagles 3-0, with winning set scores of 25-21, 25-7, and 28-26.
The Tennessee Tech volleyball team (3-2) kicked off their second tournament weekend with matches versus Radford (4-0) and Samford (3-1) on day one of the Samford-UAB Challenge in Birmingham, Ala.
