In 2016 (Sophomore): Lemon played in 20 of Tech's contests this year, including 11 starts...notched 29 kills, nine digs, and 19 blocks over 47 sets...set a career-high five kills at Middle Tennessee (9/10), which she again tied at Austin Peay (10/15)...put up a career-high four blocks at Middle Tennessee (9/10). 

In 2015 (Freshman): Lemon saw action in 22 sets over 12 matches... tallied nine kills and eight blocks on the season, totaling 13 points... averaged .094 kills per set.

High School: Lemon came to the Golden Eagles from Indian Wells, Calif. .. the 6-2 middle blocker took third last season at the Junior Nationals tournament with Mavericks Volleyball Club ... with the TStreet Volleyball Club, she earned a silver medal at the LA Qualifier, and competed at Junior Nationals again.

Personal: Daughter of Gary and Monquie Lemon... born November 25, 1996... full name is Sydney Amanda Lemon.

Academic: Majoring in communications... named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll once.

With the first tournament of the 2016 season in the books, the Tennessee Tech volleyball team (3-0) ended the weekend on top winning all three of their matches to mark the best start a Purple and Gold squad has had since 2000, when the Golden Eagles opened with a 5-0 record.
