Volleyball coach John Blair speaker at Cookeville Noonday Lion's Club
Tennessee Tech volleyball coach John Blair was the guest speaker Monday at the Cookeville Noonday Lion's Club's meeting.
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- John Blair, head coach of the Tenessee Tech volleyball team, was the invited guest speaker Monday for the gathering at the meeting of the Cookeville Noonday Lion's Club. Blair is in his eighth season as the coach of the Golden Eagles.
A native of Knoxville and a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Blair played collegiately for the Vols before embarking on a coaching career that has spanned 35 seasons.
Blair briefed the Lion's Club on the Golden Eagle volleyball program and the status of the sport in the Upper Cumberland region.
