Tech’s upcoming schedule includes three at TSU before coming home next week
The Tennessee Tech softball team will make the trip to Nashville this weekend for a three-game series against Tennessee State as both teams jockey for position in the Ohio Valley Conference standings.
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech softball team will make the trip to Nashville this weekend for a three-game series against Tennessee State as both teams jockey for position in the Ohio Valley Conference standings. The Golden Eagles will play a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at 12 p.m. before Tech and TSU wrap up the series on Sunday with a single game at 12 p.m.

Tech enters the weekend with a 16-24 overall record and 5-9 mark in the conference.
Following this weekend, Tech has three games during next week. The Golden Eagles will host Tennessee on Tuesday at 5 p.m. at the Tech Softball Field. The two teams played earlier this season with the Lady Vols taking the first match-up.
The Golden Eagles added a doubleheader to their schedule, which will also take place next week when Cumberland visits Cookeville for two games on Thursday, April 22. The doubleheader is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
