Tennessee Tech Finishes Season Strong at the NCAA South Regional Championships
Tennessee Tech men’s and women’s teams end the season with a top 16 finish at the South Regional Championships.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala.- Tennessee Tech men's and women's teams end the season with a top 16 finish at the South Regional Championships.
The men's team finished ahead of 90% of their future SoCon competition while outperforming several established programs, including Miami and Vanderbilt. The women's team finished ahead of nationally ranked No. 15 North Florida and future SoCon rival Chattanooga. The Golden Eagles aim to carry this momentum into next season.
"A phenomenal finish to a phenomenal season. Obviously, the women's first conference championship is going to be remembered for quite some time. This regional finish for both the men's and women's teams is the first step into the new chapter in the SoCon," said Head Coach Peter Dalton.
The Tech men's team finished 11th in the 10k among 27 programs. This was their best finish ever at the South Regional Championships. Luca Gambling led the way with a time of 31:16.52. Senior Carter Bradford recorded a personal best time of 31:18.66. Nic Chambers finished with a time of 31:23.98. Zak Myles-Hawkins recorded a time of 31:47.50. Cruz Hesling finished with a time of 32:41.75. Dante Torres finished with a time of 33:21.72. Jack Glisson-Schlitt recorded a time of 35:27.60.

The Tech women's team finished 16th in the 6k among 28 other programs. Naomy Lokiles led the way with a time of 21:11.22. Jane Lokiles set a personal record with a time of 21:19.46. Joy Jepleting recorded a personal record with a time of 21:22.80. Makaleigh Jessee set a personal record with a time of 21:26.53. Rylee Wells set a personal record with a time of 21:31.33. Megan Forstner recorded a personal record with a time of 22:15.41. Zaely Tilt set a personal record with a time of 22:40.51.
