Friday’s Tech tennis home opener against Kennesaw State postponed due to weather
Due to anticipated inclement weather, the Tennessee Tech tennis team’s Friday home opener with Kennesaw State has been postponed.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Due to anticipated inclement weather, the Tennessee Tech tennis team's Friday home opener with Kennesaw State has been postponed. No makeup date has been announced at this time.
Tech was set to tangle with the Owls in the club's first home clash of the year after the purple and gold have kickstarted the spring with eight straight road contests. The Golden Eagles are coming off a loss at No. 20 Mississippi State on Feb. 25 in TTU's fourth match against a nationally ranked foe this season.
Tech is still scheduled to play at ETSU on Sunday, Mar. 5. First serve from Johnson City is set for noon CT. The Golden Eagles will return to Cookeville for a second go at a home opener on Tuesday, Mar. 7 against Radford. First serve is slated for 1 p.m. CT and admission to Tech Tennis Courts is free of charge.
