COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Following a week away from the links, the Tennessee Tech men's golf team returns to play Monday and Tuesday with a trip to Murray, Ky. and Miller Memorial Golf Course for the Murray State Invitational.
Tech's second event of the year will kick off Monday morning at approximately 8:30 a.m. CDT, with 36 holes on the docket for the day. The final 18 holes of the tournament will take place on Tuesday with a 9 a.m. scheduled start.
The Golden Eagles set their sights on the same course and tournament that the women's squad placed third in just one week ago. Miller Memorial Golf Course will play at a par of 71 and 6,601 yards for the men, with both the front and back nine ending with a par-3 hole.
Ten teams make up the field for the Murray State Invitational, including six from the Ohio Valley Conference:
"We look to build on the momentum from True Blue as we bring the same lineup from the last event," head coach Polk Brown said. "The course at Murray sets up very well for us, and we anticipate a solid showing come Monday and Tuesday."
