2023-24 (Junior): Johnson appeared in 26 of Tech’s 31 contests on the year, making 14 starts while averaging 26.6 minutes per game… tied for the team lead with 14 dunks… ranked second on the team with 5.1 rebounds per game and 25 total blocks… averaged 10.7 points and 1.0 blocks per game… shot 45.8 percent from the floor, 25.8 percent from distance, and 82.9 percent from the charity stripe… made his Tech debut with eight points and six boards at #9 Tennessee (Nov. 6)… dropped a season-high 21 points, along with seven rebounds, in the team’s overtime win at Presbyterian (Nov. 22), finishing 6-for-8 from the floor, 3-of-3 from distance, and 6-for-6 at the free-throw line… corralled a season-best 12 boards against North Alabama (Dec. 16)… dished out a season-high five dimes against Midway (Nov. 16)… rejected a season-high four attempts against UT Martin (Dec. 30) and again at Southern Indiana (Jan. 6)… turned in his first double-double as a Golden Eagle with 13 points and 10 rebounds on 6-for-8 shooting at Eastern Illinois (Jan. 25)… scored in double figures 14 times, at least 15 points seven times, and 20+ points once… brought in double-digit rebounds twice and five or more in 15 contests… blocked multiple shot four times.
