2022-23 (Freshman): Beya played in 32 of the team’s 33 games on the year, making nine starts while averaging 8.6 minutes per game… averaged 1.9 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 0.4 blocks per game… shot a team-high 65.9 percent from the floor and finished 4-for-8 from the charity stripe… led the team with 16 dunks on the year… became the first player from the Democratic Republic of the Congo ever to suit up for the Golden Eagles, making his collegiate debut with two points and rebound in six minutes of action at #11 Tennessee (Nov. 7)… scored a season-high six points in four games… corralled a season-best five rebounds against Tennessee Wesleyan (Nov. 10) and again versus UT Martin (Mar. 3) in the semifinals of the OVC Tournament… blocked a season-high two shots three times.
