Tech men's basketball alumni invited back for 100th-Anniversary Celebration Nov. 4-5
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – All Golden Eagle men's basketball alumni are invited back to Cookeville and the Tennessee Tech University campus for Homecoming weekend, Nov. 4-5, 2022 to join in the 100th Anniversary Celebration of the hoops program.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – All Golden Eagle men's basketball alumni are invited back to Cookeville and the Tennessee Tech University campus for Homecoming weekend, Nov. 4-5, 2022 to join in the 100th Anniversary Celebration of the hoops program.
By invitation from current Tech men's basketball head coach John Pelphrey, alumni of the team are invited to be guests at the Hall of Fame Banquet on Friday, Nov. 4 as the program's second-leading scorer, Kevin Murphy, is inducted among four other deserving individuals. Murphy will become the 35th men's basketball player to be enshrined in the TTU Sports Hall of Fame. Reservations are required for the Hall of Fame Banquet and must be made through the TTU ticket office at 931-372-3940.
The team will host a practice open to alumni at 10:00 a.m. CT Saturday, Nov. 5, followed by tailgating and complimentary food and game tickets to the Golden Eagle football game against Lindenwood at 1:30 p.m. as part of Homecoming festivities. Tailgating will take place under the purple and white tent next to the Tech Tennis Courts with appropriate signage around to help locate the group. Dinner Saturday night will be at Nick's Restaurant located at 895 South Jefferson Ave in Cookeville with Coach Pelphrey and staff. Reservations are required and must be made through Kristie Phillips at kphillips@tntech.edu. Pricing will be menu pricing and dinner will be at 7 p.m. CT.
The program's OVC Championship teams will be recognized during the football game. Also being recognized during the contest are the members of the All-Century Team, which will be released publicly on TTUSports.com and social media in the coming days.
