Bio
2021-22 (Freshman): Gilliam competed in nine of Tech’s 32 contests on the year, averaging 1.9 minutes per game… totaled nine points and three rebounds… made all four of his field goal attempts and his lone try from distance… made his collegiate debut with two points against Oakwood (Nov. 14)… hit his first career 3-pointer and snagged a pair of rebounds against Montreat (Dec. 16)… scored two points with a board at Murray State (Jan. 24)… posted two points in the OVC Tourament Quarterfinals versus Morehead State (Mar. 3).
2020-21 (Freshman): Gilliam served as a team manager for the Golden Eagles during the 2020-21 season.
High School: Gilliam was a four-year letterwinner at Cookeville High School for head coaches Kevin Bray and Josh Heard… helped lead his squad to regular-season district titles in 2016-17 and 2017-18… named to the All-District Team three times… as a senior, averaged 16.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game… posted 15.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game as a junior and 13.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game as a sophomore… named MVP of the Hilton Sandestin Beach Blowout in 2017-18 and was a member of the All-Tournament Team in 2018-19… finished fourth on CHS’ all-time scoring charts with 1,478 points in his career… also tallied 585 rebounds and 384 assists during his Cookeville career.
