2016-17 (Junior): Phillips sat out the first 10 games of the 2016-17 season due to NCAA transfer rules… played in all of Tech’s remaining 22 games, starting the final eight while averaging 22.9 minutes per game… averaged 8.9 points and 3.8 rebounds per game… shot 76.2 percent from the charity stripe while averaging 1.0 steals per game… scored nine points on 4-for-6 shooting in his Golden Eagle debut at Michigan State (Dec. 10)… posted a season-high 19 points in Tech’s home victory over Belmont (Feb. 11)… corralled a season-best 10 rebounds to record his first double-double in a Tech uniform against Murray State (Mar. 1) in the OVC Tournament… scored in double figures nine times on the year, including five of the final seven games.

2015-16 (Sophomore – Campbell): Phillips played made seven starts and played in eight games before mutually agreeing to part ways with Campbell… sat out the second semester due to NCAA rules after transferring to Tennessee Tech in December… averaged 8.1 points and 4.1 rebounds over 26.0 minutes per game… tallied 13 assists and eight steals… dropped a season-high 14 points in the season opener against Montreat (Nov. 13)… posted season-best totals of seven rebounds and five steals against Morgan State (Nov. 21)… dished out a season-high five assists while scoring 11 points and grabbing five boards against Coastal Carolina (Nov. 28)… scored in double figures three times.

2014-15 (Freshman – Campbell): Phillips made 15 starts while appearing in all 32 games and averaging 23.5 minutes per game… averaged 8.6 points and 4.2 rebounds per game… totaled 31 assists, 29 steals and 12 blocks… shot 71.3 percent from the charity stripe and 37.0 percent from downtown… scored a season-high 24 points and totaled a season-best four steals in the team’s regular season finale at Longwood (Feb. 28)… corralled a season-best 12 rebounds against Colgate (Nov. 22)… posted a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds against Winthrop (Feb. 26)… dished out  a season-high four assists at Gardner-Webb (Feb. 6)… scored in double figures 13 times and posted 20 or more points in his final two games of the season.

High School: Phillips lettered at White Station High School… as a senior started at forward for the nation’s 22nd –ranked team, according to USA Today… averaged 10.2 points and 4.7 rebounds per game as a senior for a squad that finished 30-3 overall… led his team to a TSSAA District 16 title and a TSSAA Region 8 runner-up finish… as a junior, averaged 11 points and seven rebounds for WSHS, which finished 22-6… was one of four members of his team that signed with Division I programs.
