2014-15 (Freshman): Frazier sat out the 2014-15 season as a redshirt.

High School: Frazier lettered four years at Lake Wales High School for head coach Randy Lee and one year in football as well… led LWHS to a Florida 5A State title in 2012 one year after leading the team to the championship game… helped his team win three straight regional championships and four consecutive district championships… named the District 6A Player of the Year as a senior and throughout his career also took home All-County Third-Team honors and two MVP awards in tournaments… averaged 22 points, six assists and four rebounds per game as a senior… as a junior tallied 17 points, four assists, five rebounds and two steals per contest… for his career, averaged 18 points, six assists and four boards… graduated with high honors.

Personal: Son of Sammy Frazier and Shawna West… born Nov. 18, 1995… full name is Savonte Jayon Frazier.

Academic: Majoring in sociology with a concentration in social work… named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll twice.

A new year may be in place, but the Tennessee Tech men's basketball team will look to continue the hot trend it started in 2015 when the Golden Eagles continue Ohio Valley Conference play Saturday evening by hosting SIUE at 7:30 p.m. CST.
