2020-21 (Junior): Played in three games ... recorded four total tackles -- two at Southeast Missouri and two at UT Martin.

2019 (Sophomore): Saw action in 12 games in 2019 ... recorded one tackle.

HIGH SCHOOL: A wide receiver and defensive back at Mt. Juliet High School, Raines put together solid numbers as he scored 60 career touchdowns and collected more than 4,000 total yards as a four-year starter, including 2,800 rushing yards and 1,250 receiving yards. Golden Eagles cruise to win over NC Central

DURHAM, N.C. – It didn’t take long for Tennessee Tech to take control of the football game on Saturday against N.C. Central. The host Eagles attempted to punt the ball away, but Aidan Raines blocked the punt and NC Central recovered the ball on its own 2-yard-line to turn the ball over on downs. A penalty against NCCU moved the ball up a yard to the one, and on the Golden Eagles’ first offensive play of the game, Willie Miller pushed forward for a touchdown with 13:32 remaining on the clock in the first stanza. Tennessee Tech never looked back. The Golden Eagles took their second straight win on Saturday, topping NCCU 27-16.

Golden Eagles wrap up pre-OVC slate with loss at Tennessee

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Entering a sea of orange and white in the Neyland Stadium stands, the Tennessee Tech football team knew they were in for a challenge. Against the Tennessee Volunteers, they certainly got it. While a 56-0 defeat seems pretty difficult to find a positive, there are signs for optimism as the Golden Eagles enter Ohio Valley Conference play next week.
