Football spring game to be held Friday, alumni reception on Saturday
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – With weather potentially rearing its head again this weekend, the Tennessee Tech football team will make one more change to its 2018 spring practice schedule as the team enters its final week. Instead of the originally scheduled Saturday date for the spring game, the team has moved the event to Friday night at 8 p.m. on the practice field in the Tech Soccer Complex, located next to the Hooper Eblen Center. As with all other practices, the spring game is also open to the public.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – With weather potentially rearing its head again this weekend, the Tennessee Tech football team will make one more change to its 2018 spring practice schedule as the team enters its final week.
Instead of the originally scheduled Saturday date for the spring game, the team has moved the event to Friday night at 8 p.m. on the practice field in the Tech Soccer Complex, located next to the Hooper Eblen Center.
As with all other practices, the spring game is also open to the public.
Bleacher seating will be added to the practice field for the event, and fans will also be allowed to bring lawn chairs or other similar seating. Parking will be available in the Hooper Eblen Center's South Lot, in the commuter lot across from the soccer complex.
The spring game will wrap up the practice portion of the schedule as the Tech football team will use the time to scrimmage and showcase some of the returning talent on the 2018 Golden Eagle roster.
As this weekend is also Alumni Weekend on campus, the Golden Eagle football team will also host a football alumni reception on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon at the Athletic Performance Center, located behind the Averitt Express Baseball Complex and the Tech Softball Field. Parking will be available behind the baseball and softball fields.
The event is seen as a Tech Football family reunion with former Golden Eagle players and their families invited to the event as they meet with coaches and members of the Tech football team. The reception is closed to the public.
