Tech football team making improvements, continuing to adjust through fifth spring practice
The Tennessee Tech football team wrapped up its fifth spring practice Tuesday evening, showing strong effort and signs of improvement with plenty of room to grow and adjust.

COOKEVILLE — As the Tennessee Tech football team resumed spring drills on Tuesday night, it wasn't the effort that head coach Marcus Satterfield really wanted to see.
However, just five practice sessions into this spring's schedule, it is still very much a work in progress.
"It wasn't where we wanted to be offensively," said Tech offensive coordinator Justin Rascati. "The guys came out and they competed, but, fundamentally, we still have a long way to go. We didn't execute, but we played hard. Hopefully, we'll get into the film room and learn from this, but have a better practice on Thursday.
"But I'll give this to the kids — the effort is there. We'll make it a new day with a new focus on Thursday."
With a complete week in the books, there are players who are starting to emerge for the Golden Eagles…
