Bio

Terrell started every game in 2014 and is expected to fill that same role as a junior in 2015...a potential post-season honor candidate who brings putstanding technique onto the field, he could line up at either nose guard or defensive tackle..has become noticeably stronger in the weight room...great hands...emerged as a real leader up front, both as a vocal leader and through his effort and performance...enjoyed a very good spring...was among a long list of injured players who sat out the 2012 season as medical redshirt in his true freshman season...got onto the field in the 2012 season opener against North Greenville and made one tackle, but that was the end of the year...returned to action in 2013 and played in 11 games and saw action in all 12 games as a starter in 2014...heads up a deep group on the defensive interior positions for 2015.

AT TECH (In 2014): Started all 12 games and led Golden Eagle linemen with 40 total tackles...finished second on the team with 7.5 tackles-for-loss for 15 yards...had 1.5 quarterback sacks...had five tackles and one tackle-for-loss at UNI, then upped his career-best to six tackles at UT Martin...also notched 2.5 tackles-for-loss against the Skyhawks...posted five tackles against both Eastern Illinois and Austin Peay.

(IN 2013): Terrell was on the field for 11 games during his first full season...finished with 12 total tackles, with one tackle-for-loss and 0.5 quarterback sack...had a fumble recovery against Tennessee State.

(IN 2012): Terrell played in the Sept. 6 matchup against North Greenville and made one tackle...moved into a medical redshirt role for the remainder of the season.

HIGH SCHOOL: A two-time state champion at Greeneville High School, Terrell was named the Knoxville News Sentinel’s PrepXtra Defensive Player of the Year...was a major part of the “Golden Age” of football for the Greene Devils with a combined, four-year 51-8 record...helped coach Caine Ballard’s team to the TSSAA state playoffs all four years...after losing the Class 4A championship game in 2009, they came back to clinch the crown on Tech’s Overall Field in 2010 and 2011..as a senior, he recorded 102 total tackles including 23 tackles-for-loss and had 7.5 quarterback sacks...won the Class AA Mr. Football Lineman award and was the defensive MVP of the state title game...Terrell was also named the Greeneville Sun Defensive Player of the Year, TSWA All-State twice and earned a spot on the Murphy Fair All-State team his final two years.
