A strong, physical presence inside, Tra’Darius returns to a starting assignment at middle linebacker...an all-OVC second-team selection and preseason all-conference pick in several publications...outstanding athlete who is effective in both run and pass coverage...hard work in the weight room in the off-season and on the field have turned him into one of the top defenders in the conference...emerged as the team leader in tackles with 101 stops as a sophomore...led the team with 101 tackles as a junior, as well...first Tech defender with back-to-back 100-tackle seasons since Daniel Wentzel in 199X...comes into the year with 221 career tackles and 10 games where he contributed double-digit stops.

AT TECH (IN 2013): Tra’Darius returned for his junior year as the starting middle linebacker...played and started in every game in 2013...recorded double digit tackles in five games...had a career-high 16 tackles against Jacksonville State...recorded 11 tackles and forced fumble vs. UT Martin...finished the season with three forced fumbles...led the team in six different defensive categories...ranked second in the OVC with 101 tackles and 19th in tackles-for-loss with 8.5...named second-team all-OVC.

(IN 2012): Tra’Darius started in every game for the Golden Eagles as a sophomore and proved to be one of the best in the league...ranked first on the team and fifth in the OVC with 101 total tackles...beat his previous career-high in the second start of his career, making 10 tackles in the victory over North Greenville raised the bar with 12 tackles against Jacksonville State (Oct. 6), then made new career-high 15 stops the following game against Eastern Kentucky...had two more double-digit games with 12 tackles against Eastern Illinois and 14 in the overtime victory against UT Martin...had two fumble recoveries...blocked a kick against the No. 4 ranked (FBS) Oregon Ducks, slashing through the line to stuff a 25-yard field goal attempt in the second quarter, which he recovered.

(IN 2011): Made an appearance in all 11 contests as a true freshman at the linebacker position...had eight tackles against Maryville College and four against Tennessee State...finished with 19 total stops, incuding 11 unassisted tackles...had one sack for a loss of six yards at Eastern Illinois...returned one punt at EKU for 13 yards...forced one fumble at Iowa and had two pass breakups on the season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Tra’Darius was an Honor student at Columbia Central High School, and a standout on both sides of scrimmage for the Lions...had a phenomenal performance in the Class 5-A state championship game in Tucker Stadium as a senior, when he was named both the Offensive and Defensive Player of the Game...the Middle Tennessee Player of the Year, Goff was a two-time all-state selection, setting the school’s all-time records for both scoring and tackles..as a junior he had 28 rushing touchdowns and more than 170 tackles, and as a senior he had more than 200 tackles and rushed for 26 touchdowns.
