Jibrin jumped forward into a starting role as a true freshman early in the season and proved an effective blocker...enters the 2012 campaign primed for another outstanding season, listed second on the depth chart at left guard.

AT TECH (IN 2012): As a true freshman Jibrin got onto the field in the first two games of his career in a backup role...after missing the Oregon and Southeast Missouri games, he moved into the starting spot and never stepped aside...started the final seven games of the year... first career start came at Murray State.

IN HIGH SCHOOL: A three-year starter in the offensive line at Sprayberry High School, Jibrin was a two-time all-county selection while also earning all-region and second-team all-state honors for the Yellow Jackets...played his high school football for coach Billy Shackelford, a standout runningback for the Golden Eagles from 1989 to 1992...played a major role in helping lead the team to the 2009 and 2011 state playoffs.
