Bio
2015 (Junior): Farr started in all 47 games he played, missing eight games due to injury… wrapped up his first year as a Golden Eagle batting .275 with 49 hits, nine doubles, a triple and one home run… drove in 26 runs while scoring also scoring 33… drew 22 walks and was hit by nine pitches, leading to a .376 on base percentage… tallied a season-high four RBI at Jacksonville State (Apr. 11), producing a 2-for-5 performance with a double… drew a season-best three walks at UT Martin (Mar. 15)… scored six runs in a doubleheader against Longwood (Feb. 14), crossing the plate a season-high three times in each contest… also went a combined 5-for-9 in the contest while hitting his lone long ball of the season… strung together a season-high seven-game hit streak (May 8-16)… made on relief appearance on the mound, tossing a hitless inning with no walks against Western Carolina (May 11)… recorded multiple hits in 14 contests and scored multiple times in six games.

Summer Baseball: 2015 - played summer ball for the St. Cloud Rox of the Northwoods League… finished the league with a .250 average, 59 hits, 10 doubles, one home run, 36 runs scored, 18 RBI and 28 walks to just 18 strikeouts.

JACKSON, Tenn. – A roller coaster ride from start to finish ended on a down slope for the Tennessee Tech baseball team Thursday afternoon, as the No. 6 seeded Belmont Bruins (32-26) edged the No. 5 Golden Eagles (31-24) in a heartbreaker, 9-8, at the Ballpark at Jackson in the first elimination game of the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament.
You couldn't really ask for a better way to finish the regular season than the way senior Jake Farr did for the Tennessee Tech baseball team. It was a fitting end to spectacular day and fantastic season for the Tennessee Tech baseball team Saturday afternoon, as the Golden Eagles (31-22, 17-13) sent their seniors off with a 7-5 victory over Eastern Kentucky (24-31, 13-17) on Senior Day at Bush Stadium at the Averitt Express Baseball Complex.
