Golden Eagle Baseball School's High School Elite Camp set for January 25
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Despite recent inclement weather, the Tennessee Tech baseball team will still be hosting its annual High School Elite Camp for grades 9-12 on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014 as planned.
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Despite recent inclement weather, the Tennessee Tech baseball team will still be hosting its annual High School Elite Camp for grades 9-12 on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014 as planned.
The camp will inlcude colleges from every division of college baseball in attendance, as well as multiple colleges from around the region. Weather permitting, attendees will have the opportunity to play a game in front of collegiate scouts, do a pro style workout, and receive skill instruction from a collegiate coach.
The charge is $125 per camper and space is limited to the first 80 applicants. Check in will begin at 8 a.m. and run to approximately 8:45 a.m. Evaluation and instruction is scheduled to start at 9 a.m. and continue until 1:30 p.m.
The camp will be held at the Athletic Performance Center on the campus of Tennessee Tech University.
The Golden Eagle Baseball Staff includes Head Coach and 2009, 2013 Ohio Valley Conference Coach of the Year, Matt Bragga; Former Mississippi State standout and 12th round draft pick Brandon Turner; 2007 TSSAA Batting Crown Winner Cody Church; and 2009 NAIA All-American Kyle Medley.
