2023 (Junior): Powell took part in 19 of Tech’s 20 matches during its inaugural beach campaign, finishing 6-11 overall with a 4-6 mark in OVC action… ended the year 0-5 at No. 1, 2-3 in the No. 2 spot, 1-0 as the No. 3 duo, 1-1 as the No. 4, and 2-2 in the No. 5 position… teamed up with Aleeya Jones (2-7, 1-5 OVC), McKenna Young (2-1, 2-1 OVC), Olivia Taylor (1-2), Jordan Karlen (1-0, 1-0 OVC), and Maddie Isringhausen (0-1) during the year… combined with Jones in the No. 2 spot for Tech in each of the final six matches, including all four tilts in the OVC Tournament… made her collegiate debut and won her first match with Taylor in the No. 5 spot with a 2-0 decision over Spartanburg Methodist (Feb. 24).
High School: Powell was a two-sport athlete at Routt Catholic High School in Jacksonville, Ill., competing four years as a middle blocker for head volleyball coach Pat Gibson and four years as a pitcher and infielder for head softball coach Jamie Martin… accounted for 163 kills, 39 blocks, and 114 digs as a sophomore and 217 kills, 39 blocks, and 350 digs as a junior… missed her senior campaign due to a knee injury… was a three-time team MVP over her first three years… as a freshman, took home All-Western Illinois Valley Conference Second Team honors before earning First Team accolades as a sophomore… during her junior season, picked up another First Team nod while representing the top pick of the All-Conference team.

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – With the Ohio Valley Conference's announcement Tuesday of its 2023-24 Team Academic Achievement Awards, Tennessee Tech came away with one of the team honors as the Golden Eagle beach volleyball team was recognized for the highest percentage of its eligible student-athletes achieving a 3.25 grade point average or better. Beach volleyball had 10 players make the OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll with Brooke Amann, Skylar Boom, Katie DiRaimondo, Madolyn Isringhausen, Emma Pabon, Bella Powell, Olivia Taylor, Elena Wallace, Jazmine Yamilkowski and McKenna Young all earning spots on the academic excellence list. DiRaimondo, Isringhausen, Taylor and Young also received the OVC Academic Medal of Honor with perfect 4.0 GPAs.
