Tennis, softball starts delayed as rain passes through region
Light rain in the Upper Cumberland has forced a slight change in the schedule for Saturday's home tennis and softball contests. The tennis matches are now scheduled for 12:30 p.m. while softball is moving to a 2:30 p.m. start time.
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- Light rain passing through the Upper
Cumberland region of Tennessee Saturday morning is causing the
tennis and softball teams to make slight changes in their home
contest starting times.
Weather permitting, the men's tennis match against Murray State has
moved to 12:30 p.m., with the women's match still slated for a 2
p.m. start.
The softball series finale against Murray State has been moved back
to a 2:30 p.m. starting time.
