A distance specialist, Tiffany has posted three solid seasons on the Tech squad and brings that experience into the 2009-10 season, where she stands to make a further impact on the team...will be among the team leaders during the cross country season...will compete in the longer distances during the track seasons.

AT TECH (in 2008-09): A consistent runner throughout the fall cross-country season, Tiffany finished in third place in every meet she competed in...best time of the season was a 19:12.94 finish at Evansville, which also stands as a personal career-best...competed in a stellar spring track season, competing in four events during the indoor season and setting career-best marks in two of those and contributing to a new school record in another...set a distance in the mile run of 5:42.86 at Sewanee...set a career-best time in the 3000m of 10:58.72 at the OVC Championships...also set a career-best time in the 5000m of 19:11.21, also at the OVC meet...competed on the distance medley relay team that set the new school-record time of 12:21.09 at the OVC meet with teammates Keri Light, Stephanie Place and Emily Weinzetl...also competed in five meets during the outdoor season, setting career-bests in four of those...set a career-best time in the 800m of 2:32.34 at the Austin Peay meet...set a time in the 1500m of 4:56.66 at the Tennessee State meet, another career-best...her new career-best time in the 5000m was set at the Murray State meet, where she clocked in at 18:16.15...a career-best time in the 10000m of 38:24.84 was clocked in at the OVC Championships...her best time of the season in the 3000m was 11:04.7 at TSU.

(In 2007-08): Tiffany ran in every cross country meet as a sophomore and finished third on the team in all but one race...season-best time was 19:52.73 during the WKU Old-Timer's Meet in Bowling Green...flirted with a 19-minute mark in two other races, finishing in 20:02 at the TTU Invitational and 20:06 at Furman...competed in three indoor events during the spring track season (mile run, 3000m, 5000m)...best personal time of the season in the mile run was 5:54.47 at Sewanee...posted a time of 11:02.75 in the 3000m at the OVC Championships...she was also clocked in at 20:49.87 in the 5000m at TSU...competed in two outdoor track events...in the 800m, she placed the team's second-best seasonal time with a 2:35.04 performance at Austin Peay...in the 1500m event, she clocked in a time of 5:17.74 at Mississippi State, which is another second-best seasonal time for the squad.

(In 2006-07): Tiffany proved to be a huge asset to the lineup during the 2006 cross country season, finished second on the squad in every meet in which she competed...ran in six meets but missed the NCAA Regionals...established a career-high of 21:17.25 in the Sewanee Invitational, a time which she surpassed with a time of 21:14 at the Tennessee Tech Invitational to finish in fourth place overall...lowered that even more at University of Evansville meet with a time of 20:19.91...impressive time of 20:36 at the OVC Championship to place 38th overall...during the track season, she ran the mile and 3K indoors, then competed in the 1,500m, 3K and 5K outdoors...posted career-best times in every event as a sophomore...ran a 5:03.19 in the 1,500m at Vanderbilt...her 3K best was 10:59.37, also at Vanderbilt...ran a 19:18.39 at 5,000m at the APSU Invitational.

HIGH SCHOOL: Tiffany earned four letters in both cross country and track & field at Cleveland High School...during her years with the track team, Tiffany competed in 800m, 1600m, and 3200m...received the Coach's Award and was named the team's MVP...two-time all-region pick and was named all-state in 2005...listed on the Best of Preps list all four years.

PERSONAL: Tiffany is the daughter of Scott and Shari Palmer...born ...full name is Tiffany Palmer...majoring in elementary education.
