High School: Spent four years on the varsity squad at Winnebago High School in Winnebago, Ill...was an all-state honorable mention her final two seasons, and a three-time all-conference selection...finished her senior season with 275 kills, 257 digs and 52 service aces...also had seven solo blocks and 13 assisted blocks...led her team to a regional championship her senior year...also was in the Upper Math Program and played flute in the band.
Personal: Heather is the daughter of Wayne and Debbie Asplund...full name is Heather Lynn Asplund...born March 11, 1991...intended major at Tech is Psychology...sister of recent Tech volleyball standout Jessica Asplund.
