In 2014 (Freshman): Cassidy proved to be an intricate part of Tech’s defense, serving as one of five Golden Eagles to start in all 19 matches in 2014…ranked second on the team with 1,706 minutes played…played in at least 90 minutes in 16 of 19 matches…recorded four shots, three of which were on-goal for a .750 shot on-goal percentage…played in 110 minutes in a tie vs. Eastern Illinois on Oct. 11…played in 110 minutes in a tie at Austin Peay on Oct. 19.
HIGH SCHOOL: Cassidy was a two-sport athlete at Grissom High School in Huntsville, Ala., lettering in soccer for four years and playing volleyball for one…all-city defensive player first-team honors as a senior…team captain as a senior…helped lead team to a 66-9 combined recorded, including a section championship in 2012…member of the National Honor Society.

MURRAY, Ky. – The captivating ride of the 2015 Tennessee Tech soccer season came to a close Friday afternoon as No. 2 Tech fell to No. 6 Southeast Missouri, 2-0, in the first of two OVC Tournament semifinals.
Cape Girardeau, Mo. – In the last road match of the 2015 campaign, the Tennessee Tech soccer team once again showcased its defense en route to a scoreless draw at Southeast Missouri.
CHARLESTON, Ill. – The Tennessee Tech soccer team was handed its first loss of the conference season Friday afternoon, falling 1-0 at the hands of Eastern Illinois, despite holding a commanding 12-6 edge in the shot department over the Panthers.
The Tennessee Tech soccer team will put its undefeated conference record on the line over the weekend, traveling up north for a pair of critical OVC matches.
It was raining, even pouring, but that didn’t keep the Tennessee Tech soccer team from scoring.
Following a perfect weekend to kick off Ohio Valley Conference action, the Tennessee Tech soccer team returns home for its first OVC match of the season, as the Golden Eagles will welcome Eastern Kentucky for a Friday evening showdown at 7 p.m. CT.
