In 2012 (Junior): Hicks served as a mainstay on the backline, starting in all 18 matches for Tech, playing at least 90 minutes in 15 of them… one of just three Golden Eagles to notch over 1,500 minutes on the season… picked up her only assist and point of the year in a 3-2 loss to Middle Tennessee on Sep. 7… took five shots, one of which was on goal for a shot-on-goal percentage of .200… named to Athletic Director’s Honor Roll… took home spot on OVC Honor Roll.    

In 2011 (Sophomore): Hicks took on an enhanced role her junior season, starting all 19 games and being one of just four Golden Eagles to play more than 1,700 minutes on the year… moved up from the back line to score one goal and assist on another, finishing the year with three points… took eight shots on the season, six of which were on goal, and posted a shot percentage of .125 and a shot-on-goal percentage of .750… scored her goal on a corner kick to give Tech a 3-0 lead in an eventual 4-1 victory over UNC Asheville on Aug. 28… named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.

In 2010 (Freshman): Hicks started in 10 of 17 matches in her first year of college play, showing promise with her speed and endurance… scored one goal and distributed one assist for the season… all but sealed the victory for the Golden Eagles in the 69th minute on a goal from 25 yards out in a 2-0 win over Georgia Southern on Sept. 10… helped spark a Tech rally in an eventual 3-2 overtime loss to Louisiana Tech on Sept. 15 with an assist… named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll as well as the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL: Hicks attended Greely High School in Cumberland, Maine, earning three varsity letters… played for the Maine Coast United club team under Jon Meek… earned honorable mention as a member of her team and was a member of the National Honor Society.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Ed Hicks and Jenn Vogel… born April 10, 1992… full name is Taylor Anne Hicks… majoring in pre-physical therapy.
