High School: Sykes was a four-year letterwinner at The Webb School of Knoxville for head coach Rob Daugherty… led Webb to a pair of fifth-place finishes at the state tournament as a freshman and sophomore… also helped Webb to district and region runner-up showings her first two seasons… picked up All-State First Team honors, Knoxville News Sentinal PrepXtra First Team accolades, and the Webb Spartan Award as a junior… earned a sixth-place performance at the state championships after finishing fourth at the region tournament during her junior season… as a senior, delivered a nine-hole scoring average of 38 with three rounds under par… placed fifth at the region championships and 15th at the state tournament as a senior… following a fifth-place showing at district as a freshman, won a playoff at the region championships to advance to the state finals for the first time… picked up a fifth-place decision at regions and an 18th-place finish at the state championships as a sophomore.
