2025-26 (Freshman): Cawthorn had a tremendous freshman campaign with the Golden Eagles, starting 27 of the 29 games played ... she averaged 9.8 points and an Ohio Valley Conference-best 10.0 rebounds per game, while also leading the team in steals (54) and blocks (39, which also led the OVC) ... also had 15 assists ... recorded 10 double-doubles in her rookie season, already standing 21st in program history ... Cawthorn also broke the NCAA freshman single-game rebound record against Eastern Illinois, pulling down 27 boards on Feb. 7 – tying her with three eventual WNBA players in Aneesah Morrow (DePaul, 2021-22), Jillian Alleyne (Oregon, 2012-13) and Anriel Howard (Texas A&M, 2015-16).  It was the fourth-most in a single game in program history and the most in 50 years since Pam Cassity collected the top eight rebound performances all in the 1975-76 season ... she was named OVC Freshman of the Week five times and OVC Player of the Week twice, while earning All-OVC second-team and All-Newcomer team selections ... posted a career-high 27 points and 27 rebounds in a win over Eastern Illinois (2/7/26), while recording a career-high five steals and five blocks twice in single-game action ... had double-doubles against Samford (12/4/25), Southeast Missouri (12/19/25), Southern Indiana (1/15/26), at Lindenwood (1/22/26), Little Rock (1/31/26), Western Illinois (2/5/26), Eastern Illinois (2/7/26), at UT Martin (2/26/26) and at Southeast Missouri (2/28/26) ... finished the season with 285 points, 291 rebounds, 15 assists, 39 blocks and 54 steals, while shooting .457 from the floor.

HIGH SCHOOL: Cawthorn has distinguished herself as one of Kentucky's top high school players with an athletic resume that includes being named 4th Region Player of the Year as a junior, along with back-to-back District Player of the Year honors as a sophomore and junior. Under the guidance of her high school coach Ashley Taylor, Cawthorn has led Franklin-Simpson to regional prominence, proving her value not only as a high-impact scorer but as a key playmaker and team leader. Her success has earned her spots on the All-4th Region Tournament Team and All-District Team in each of her last three years.

Cawthorn's stats speak to her all-around game. She averaged 13.0 points and 5.0 rebounds per game as a freshman, establishing herself as an immediate contributor. Her sophomore season saw a remarkable jump to 19.0 points and 13.0 rebounds per game, while, as a junior, she averaged 17.0 points and 10.0 rebounds even though she was the focal point of her opposing defenders on a nightly basis. Her career totals of 1,478 points and 900 rebounds heading into her senior campaign are nothing short of impressive.
