Roane State: Cantrell transfers to Tech via Roane State where she played two seasons for coach Monica Boles...as a sophomore, she averaged 13.5 points and 6.1 rebounds per game and led her team to a 16-15 record in one of the toughest regions in the junior college ranks...Cantrell was named TJCCAA First-Team All-Conference this past season and earned TCCAA All-Academic honors both her freshman and sophomore years.

Personal: Her father Rick (former TTU men's basketball player) and mother Cynthia are both Tennessee Tech graduates; brother Derrick is a senior at TTU... majoring in basic business.
