In 2014-15 (Junior): Mariah played in 28 of the Golden Eagles 29 games, including starting two … averaged 4.7 points per game and 3.6 rebounds … swatted away 24 shots for a second-highest mark on the team … recorded a career-high three steals against Wake Forest (11/18) … recorded a career-best four blocks against UT Martin (1/15) … played a career-high 30 minutes against SEMO (1/17) … honored with the prestigious Frank Porter Award.

In 2013-14 (Sophomore): Mariah saw action in 26 games for Tech, including one start against Tennessee State (2/3) … recorded her first double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds against SIUE (1/11) … snagged another 10 rebounds against UT Martin (1/20) … helped the team with a season-high three assists versus Tennessee Wesleyan (11/9) … totaled 11 steals on the season …ended the season with averages of 3.6 points and 3.2 rebounds per game.

In 2012-13 (Freshman): Played in 24 games for the Golden Eagles, including her first start in the purple and gold versus Samford on 12/6…scored a career-high 13 points versus UT Martin on 1/21… averaged 2.5 points and 1.9 rebounds during her freshman campaign.

High School: Mariah came to the Golden Eagle basketball team from Benjamin E. Mays High School in Atlanta, Ga. ... A versatile athlete, she played volleyball, ran track, and played basketball, earning two letters in track and volleyball and three letters in basketball. Mariah played power forward and center under Coach Natasha Harrigan … recipient of the Best Defensive Player and Co-Best All Around JV Basketball … a hard-worker in the classroom, she received the Scholar Athlete Award, B.E. Mays Academic Athletic Achievement Award, the B.E. Mays FCA Leadership Award two times, and the Superior Scholar Athlete Award… led her team to victories at the 2008 Swoosh Kickoff Classic, 2008 Swoosh Summer Kickoff, 2009 Regional Championships, and the 2011 Super Showcase … during her 2010-11 season, she averaged 16 points per game, three rebounds, and three blocks per game … a decorated student in the classroom, she earned a spot in the top 10% of her class all four years, received the Super Performance Award in her AP Biology class, and received the Superior Performance Award in her Spanish class.
