SENIOR (2017): Leonce was a truely talented multi-event athlete for the 2017 track team...she set indoor school records in the 60-meter hurdles (8.65, Samford Open) and the long jump (5.33m, Samford Open)...was part of the indoor 4x400-meter relay group of Na'Asha Robinson, Jaydean Joseph, and D'Airrien Jackson to set a Tech school record time of 3:46.60 at the OVC Championships...contributed to the quad of Na'Asha Robinson, D'Airrien Jackson, and Crystal Liebenberg's 4x100-meter group to establish a Tech outdoor school record time of 45.78 at the OVC Championships...set indoor personal-best times in the 60-meter dash (7.62, OVC Championships), the 200-meter (24.95, Meyo Invitational), the 400-meter (1:04.16, Gene Edmonds Invitational), the high jump (1.61m, Illini Classic/Meyo Invitational), the long jump (5.33m, Samford Open), and the shot put (9.85m, Gene Edmonds Invitational)...set career-best outdoor marks in the 200-meter (24.14, OVC Championships), the long jump (5.68m, Weems Baskin Invitational), and the javelin (31.56m, Weems Baskin Invitational).
JUNIOR (2016): Leonce blasted the outdoor school records in the heptathlon with a 4,661 mark and the 100m hurdles with a time of 13.94...was part of the 4x100m and 4x400m outdoor relay teams (along with Na'Asha Robinson, D'Airrien Jackson, and Crystal Liebenburg) that broke the Tech school records with a times of 46.38 in the 4x100m and 3:41.15 in the 4x400m...
JUNIOR COLLEGE: Ran two seasons on the track & field team at Iowa Western Community College...competed in the heptathlon...placed third in the 100m hurdles at the JuCo Nationals...finished fourth in the pentathlon and eighth in the high jump with a personal best of 5feet, 6 inches...holds the school records in the penthalon and 100m hurdles.
HIGH SCHOOL: Sharnique attended Ciceron Secondary School, where she competed for five seasons on the track & field team...also payed netball and volleyball...named the school's Athlete of the Year twice...competed in multi-events on the track...competed nationally winning the silver medal in the pentathlon at the Carifta Games.
