AT TECH (IN 2017): Cooper recorded personal-best times in the indoor 800-meter (2:25.30, IU Relays), indoor mile (5:40.61, Gene Edmonds Invitational), the outdoor 800-meter (2:28.74, Weems Baskin Invitational), and the outdoor 1,500-meter (4:41.86, Hilltopper Relays).
AT TECH (IN 2015-16): Slated to compete in cross country, she missed early races due to injury...was able to run in one meet, posting a time of 22:10.2 at the Commodore Classic, but did not compete after that...in track, set season-highs in the indoor 800m (2:29.58), mile (5:49.61), and 3,000m (11:52.05) and outdoor 1,500m (4:59.77).
(IN 2014-15): Anna enjoyed a solid first season on the Golden Eagle cross country squad, improving with each meet while running in all six events...acheived a career-best 5K time of 19:51.44 at the OVC Championships in Alabama where she placed second on the squad...improved from fifth in the Tech lineup to open the year to second over the course of her rookie season...originally had a sub-20 minute career best with run of 19:53.9 at the Greater Louisville Classic...captured two team awards at season's end with the Most Dedicated and Most Improved Runner awards...during the indoor season, Ana competed in the 800, mile and 3,000m races and the distancemedley relay...posted a PR of 11:25.59 at East Tennessee in the 3,000m run...ran just one event outdoors, posting a time of 5:41.56 in the 1,500m at Vanderbilt Invitational.
HIGH SCHOOL: Anna attended Bristol (Tenn.) High School...was member of the Beta Club and National Honor Society...lettered in volleyball, cross country, and track...received the 2013 cross country MVP award and made the 2012 All-Academic volleyball team...personal 5K record in cross country came in 2013 season with a time of 19:58...personal records in track were in 2014 season with a time of 5:37 in the 1600m, 2:31 at 800 meters, and 11:47 in the 3200m event.
