Heading into her third collegiate season, Brittany is one of the most experienced veterans on the roster...should provide leadership as well as quality efforts in the sprints and relays.
AT TECH (IN 2014-15): Brittany was a regular contributor to Tech's efforts in the sprints, running everything from 60m to 400m...improved her 60m time indoors every time she stepped onto the track, finishing with a season-best of 8.26 seconds at the OVC meet...twice ran the 200m and twice the 400m, posting a 200m PR of 27.71 at East Tennessee...her 400m personal best of 1:05.16 came at Samford...outdoors she ran the 100m in every meet, with a career-best of 12.68 at the OVC meet...regular at 200m, with a PR of 26.14 at the OVC championships.
(IN 2013-14): Brittany competed in the 55m, 60m, and the 200m during indoor season...achieved a personal best in the 60m with a time of 8.48, as well as a PR in the 200m with a time of 27.99...in outdoor season, Brittany competed in the 100m, 200m, 400m, 4x400m relay, and the 4x100m relay...personal record in the 100m was 13.07...in the 200m was 27.19...400m was 1:09.80.
HIGH SCHOOL: Brittany attended Richardson High School in Mesquite, Texas...a well-rounded student-athlete, she received awards in both athletics and academics...she was the DECA captain and was an honor graduate...lettered all four years in track & field...team captain for two years, helping to capture district championshi[s in 2011-12 and 2012-13...received the Soaring Eagle Award from her school..personal best for the 100m dash was 12.54...had a 4x100m relay time of 47 seconds, and the team's 200m relay best was 26.76 seconds.
