Bio
Katherine is a very strong competitor in track and has already had a major impact in the pole vault by establishing a new school record...brings a strong can-do attitude into her college career...a pole vaulter who will challenge the Tech record book every time she vaults.
(In 2009-10): Competed in indoor and outdoor pole vault events as a freshman...set a school record in the pole vault at the Vanderbilt Invitational with her mark of 10 feet, 0 inches...she established another indoor season record with her mark of 9 feet, 6.25 inches in the pole vault event at Sewanee.
HIGH SCHOOL: Katherine comes to the Golden
Eagle squad from Anderson County High School...qualified for the
state meet in each of her four years...achieved honors as the state
runner-up in the pole vault during her junior year.
