HIGH SCHOOL: At Gray Stone Day School, Herlocker, as a senior, batted .720 with 43 RBI, an .862 slugging percentage and a 1.000 fielding percentage. She hit .540 as a freshman, .480 as a sophomore and .554 as s junior. For her career, she collected 120 RBI and had a 1.000 fielding percentage at first base. Herlocker was named all-conference, all-county and all-state all four years. She was also the recipient of the 2016 Greater Charlotte Adam Faulk Tanksley Award. Also played one season of volleyball. Played for the Team NC Holmes club team.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – It was Raegan Sparks’ day at the plate as she led the Tennessee Tech softball team to a split against Samford on Sunday afternoon as she went 4-for-7 with seven RBI and her fifth home run of the season. Kayla Hughes picked up her first win of the season in the day’s nightcap, pitching the complete game as she allowed four earned runs on 10 hits, striking out two in the Golden Eagles’ 9-5 win over the Bulldogs.

The day started with a 7-5 loss to host Chattanooga as it rallied from a 5-0 deficit with two runs in the second and five in the fourth to overcome the Golden Eagles’ hot start.
