2018 (Junior): Finished as Tech’s No. 1 runner at the final three meets of the season … earned Second Team All-OVC by way of a 10th-place eight-kilometer finish (24:48.9) at the OVC Championships on Oct. 27 … was an all-region performer at the NCAA South Regional meet, coming in 19th with a 10-kilometer time of 31:57.7 … took an 8K season-best of 24:35.06 at the Greater Louisville Classic, the 11th-fastest time in Tech history … recorded four of the top-20 8K times in the TTU record book … netted four top-10 overall finishes … never finished lower than 29th overall at any meet ... had four 8K times under 25 minutes.

2017 (Sophomore): Was Tech's No. 2 finisher in every race ... produced two top-10 and four top-25 results ... obliterated his previous best in the 8K and broke 25 minutes for the first time on October 14 at the adidas Pre-Nationals, where he crossed the line in 24:27.5 for 22nd overall ... was one of two Tech runners to compete at the NCAA South Regional, recording a 10K time of 32:04.0 for 35th place out of 174 athletes ... all four of Cheplak's 8K times from 2017 are in the top 20 in TTU men's cross country history; his mark from Pre-Nationals is the highest at No. 6.

2016 (Freshman): Cheplak opened the 2016 season with a 6K time of 19:29.3...recorded a personal-best 8K time at the OVC Championships on Oct. 29 when he placed 17th overall with a time of 25:47.9, which marks him 24th in the Tech record book...was a solid middle-of the-pack runner for the Golden Eagles; tallied one second-place, three third-places, two fourth-places, and one fifth-place team finish...placed 67th overall at the NCAA South Regionals with a 10K time of 32:24.2.

Personal: Cheplak is a native of Eldoret, Kenya...graduated from the Kipsaos Boys High School in 2014.
