In 2016 (Freshman): Rono recorded one fifth-place team finish and four sixth-place team finishes on the season...opened the 2016 season with a 6K time of 20:27.7 at the Golden Eagle Invitational on Sept. 1...recorded a season-best 8K time of 26:56.73 at the Azalea City Classic on Sept. 9.
