In 2016 (Senior): Patterson was a key runner in the Golden Eagle's pack...recorded five fifth-place team finishes and one second-place team finish...opened the 2016 season at the Golden Eagle Invitational where he recorded a 6K time of 19:49.6 to place 16th overall..recorded a season-best 8K time at the Azalea City Classic on Sept. 9, where he placed fourth overall with a time of 25:18.80, which marked him 11th in the Tech record books...placed 61st overall at the OVC Championships where he recorded an 8K time of 28:04.6...finished 116th overall the the NCAA South Regionals with a 10K time of 33:28.1.
While at Dalton State: Third place finish in teh Southern States Athletic Conference Meet in 2014 where he recorded an 8K time of 26:20...second-place finish at the conference meet in 2015 with an 8K time of 25:49...placed 11th overall at the NAIA pre-Nationals in 2015 with an 8K time of 25:16...placed 39th overall at the NAIA Nationals with an 8K time of 25:35...named in the 2015 and 2015 All-American Academic teams.
Personal: Patterson is a native of Cleveland, Tenn...graduated from Bradley Central High School in May of 2013...majoring in mechanical engineering.
