Bio
A newcomer on the golden Eagle roster in 2014,
Blake had a successful prep career and is hoping to carry that over
into his time as a collegiate runner.
AT TECH (2014): Blake gained some experience in his rookie
year, but only competed in two meets, the team's first and last of
the season...posted a 5K time of 17:54.27 at the Carolina
Invitational to open the season...posted his career best 8K time of
27:57.77 at the OVC Championships, finishing seventh on the
squad.
HIGH SCHOOL: Blake attended Franklin Road Academy in Nashville, Tenn., where he ran cross country and track...as a Junior he placed fourth in the TSSAA state cross country championships...his senior year he placed third...personal record was 17:01 in the 5K.
PERSONAL: Blake is the son of Michael and Christy Rhoden...full name is Zachary Blake Rhoden...prefers to be called Blake...was born in Nashville, Tenn., on February 9, 1996...majoring in mechanical engineering.
