FRESHMAN (2020-21): Sasagawa teamed up with Evzen Holis to make TTU’s most formidable doubles tandem during the spring thanks to an 8-5 tandem ledger, highlighted by a 7-4 mark out of the top spot in the lineup…did not compete during the fall after the season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic…posted a 3-1 singles record during the spring, including 1-0 in OVC play…went 1-0 out of the No. 5 singles spot and 2-1 out of the No. 6 solo position…ended the spring on a three-match singles winning streak, which included a straight-set victory in the OVC Tournament championship match against Belmont.
FRESHMAN (2019-20 - Hofstra): Compiled a 17-5 singles record... led team in wins... was 9-0 in dual matches, playing at the second (3-0), third (4-0), and fourth (2-0) flights... won the consolation championship in B Singles at the Siena Invitational... was the runner-up in C Singles at the Hofstra Invitational... had an 11-7 record in doubles... was 5-3 in duals... had a 4-2 record at No. 1 doubles with Alvaro Arce Lopez-Sanchez.
