FRESHMAN (2018-19): Vicente put together a remarkable rookie year for the Golden Eagles, claiming the OVC Freshman of the Year award and securing a spot on the All-OVC first team…became the fourth Tech freshman in the last five years to win OVC Freshman of the Year honors…proved to be Tech’s most formidable doubles player with a 16-13 overall record for the best mark on the team…went 11-7 out of the No. 1 spot in the spring, the most spring wins on the club…notched a 3-1 doubles record during OVC action…posted a 16-22 overall singles record during the year with an 8-9 fall mark and an 8-13 spring ledger…turned it on during OVC play with a 4-1 conference singles record…appeared in five of six spots in the Tech singles lineup during the spring, highlighted by a 5-5 mark out of the No. 2 position…won three singles matches in Tech’s second event of the fall, the Chattanooga Collegiate Clay Court Championships (Sept. 14-16)…claimed three consecutive victories to reach the consolation quarterfinals in the ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships (Oct. 11-14).
