Bio
Othon was a January addition to the Golden Eagle roster in the
2012-13 season and became a regular in the Tech lineup for the
sprig dual match season...comes into 2013-14 expected to make an
impact on the squad, but will get underway later in the year after
recovering from a shoulder injury.
AT TECH (In 2012-13): Othon played in 13 matches
in his freshman season for the Golden Eagles, filling the No. 6
singles position...was 3-10 overall in singles play, including a
2-3 mark against OVC opponents...played in the No. 3 doubles spot,
teaming with Alvaro Cintas for a 4-6 record.
BEFORE TECH: Played cometitively throughout Brazil
as a junior player under coach Carlos Kirmayr...had a No 3 Junior
ranking in Brazil when he was 18...took first place in doubles in
the Brazilian Tournament.
PERSONAL: Othon is the son of Otoni Olveira and
Vilmar Lima...born September 19, 1994...full name is Othon Oloveira
Lima...majoring in electrical engineering.
