Bio
Alvaro has been playing tennis since he was four years
old...joined the Tech program in January 2013, and has played one
spring for the Golden Eagles...gained some collegiate experience as
a freshman and comes into the 2013-14 season with the chance to
have an impact on them middle of the Golden Eagle lineup.
AT TECH (In 2012-13): Alvaro joined the team
mid-season, adding his name to the roster in January...played in 15
dual matches, mostly at the No. 5 position in singles...also saw
action at Nos. 3, 4, and 6...posted a 3-12 overall record in
singles, with all three of his wins coming against OVC foes where
he went 3-3...was 4-10 overall in doubles contests, including a
strong 4-1 record in OVC play...paired up with four different
playing partners during the year, all in the No. 3 doubles
spot.
PERSONAL: Alvaro is the son of Alfonso and
MaEugenia Cintas...has one brother (Alfonso, 29) and one sister
(Miriam, 25)...birthday is April 21, 1994...majoring in computer
engineering.
