Bio
John is a new addition to the Golden Eagle roster in 2009-2010,
a local player from Crossville who will provide depth for coach
Kenny Doyle's squad...a highly versatile athlete who earned letters
in five sports during his high school career, he's also successful
in the classroom.
At Tech
In 2009-2010 (Freshman): John did not participate in any
of Tech's tournaments during the fall season.
High School: John attended Stone Memorial High School in
Crossville (Tenn.) where he lettered in basketball soccer,
football, golf and tennis...recieved the academic honors of Quiznos
Student-Athlete of 2008, East Tennessee Student-Athlete of 2009 and
was a candidate for the Wendy's Heisman Award.
Personal: Son of Maigoite and Vic Taylor of Crossville, Tenn...born on February 18, 1991...major is exercise science with a concentration in physical therapy.
