In Spring 2013 (Sophomore): Verble qualified for four events and carded an average of 79.64 over his 14 rounds… made his best finish at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate (Mar. 17-19), shooting a 73+82=155 to tie for 33rd and finish +11… also shot his single-round low score of the year at the event, carding a first-round 73.
In Fall 2012 (Sophomore): Verble participated in one tournament in the fall, finishing three rounds of play… scored a 77+78+74=229 at the Skyhawk Classic (Oct. 7-9) at Paris Landing State Park to finish +13, his second-best round of the year.
In Spring 2012 (Freshman): Verble did not participate in any spring tournaments.
In Fall 2011 (Freshman): Verble played in two tournaments during the fall season, totaling six rounds of golf… shot a low round of 75 in the second round at the Murray State Invitational (Oct. 3-4)… finished with a stroke average of 77.8.
High School: Verble lettered four years in golf and four years in basketball while at Hendersonville Christian Academy… named the Team MVP of the golf team three consecutive years from 2008-10… posted a nine-hole stroke average of 36 over his career with the Crusaders.
