2020-21 (Senior): Played in all seven games, starting six ... recorded 21 total tackles -- six solo and 15 assisted -- with four for-loss for five yards ... also had two QB hurries ... recorded a career-high six tackles in the finale against UT Martin (4/11/21).

2019 (Junior): Gladney played in all 12 games for the Golden Eagles, starting 11 ... Recorded 28 total tackles -- seven solo and 21 assisted -- averaging 2.3 tackles per game ... had four sacks for 24 yards among six TFL for 28 yards ... recorded a season-high five tackles against Virginia-Wise (9/14/19) ... had a sack and 1.5 TFL against Jacksonville State (11/9/19).

HIGH SCHOOL: Gladney was a force up front on defense, helping lead his Ramsay teammates to a 2016 Class 6A state championship. Gladney recorded 68 tackles as a senior, including 34 for-loss, as well as 4.5 sacks, six batted passes and a blocked extra point. In his career, he tallied 194 total tackles, 79 for-loss, 15 sacks, seven batted passes, seven fumble recoveries, eight fumbles forced, an interception, a blocked PAT and a defensive touchdown. He was named all-city in 2014, all-metro honorable mention in 2015, a second-team all-state selection, honorable mention Super All-State, and was on AL.com's preseason best players list to open the 2016 campaign.

Homecoming at Tech brings in Skyhawks Saturday

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Homecoming on a college campus. It’s one of the most treasured traditions for any school. The leaves have turned various shades of red and orange with a cool, crisp air. Fans decked out in their team gear line the streets as the Homecoming parade marches down the street.  On Saturday, it’ll be Tennessee Tech’s turn for the pageantry as the Golden Eagles host their 90th Homecoming game, bringing in UT Martin for the annual affair.  Kickoff for the game is slated for 1:35 p.m. Roger Ealey and Frank Harrell will provide the broadcast on 98.5 KISS FM, while Dylan Vazzano and Sam Brooks will handle the call on ESPN+ (subscription required).

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – It’s been just four-and-a-half months since the Tennessee Tech football team last saw action on the gridiron in the spring. Not even 150 days have passed since the Golden Eagles were playing in a game that counted. As Thursday night arrives, it’ll be back to business as usual as Tech travels to Birmingham to take on the Samford Bulldogs.

Tucker first team, Reliford second team among seven on Phil Steele All-OVC squads

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – With just over two weeks remaining before the Tennessee Tech football team kicks off its 2021 campaign, the Golden Eagles saw several players earn selections to Phil Steele’s All-Ohio Valley Conference team on Monday. Senior defensive lineman Chris Tucker was on the first team, while junior defensive back Josh Reliford earned a spot on the second squad. Sophomore quarterback Willie Miller, senior offensive lineman Kurt Huff, junior offensive lineman Spencer Stachyra, senior defensive lineman Jale’n Gladney and junior linebacker Seth Carlisle picked up nods on the third team.
