Combining great size and good speed, Steve should rise into a larger role in his senior season...has played in 33 career games including every game the past two years...part-time starter last season with six starts...played the Z receiver during spring drills, but was moved to X following those sessions and began learning new assignments...has all the potential to shine...has the size the pros could take a look at...a quarterback in high school who has made the transition to receiver...can really get up for passes and has good hands...knows his routes well...working to improve his blocking...after a redshirt season, he saw limited action as a freshman before becoming a real threat the last two years...owns 37 career catches for 401 yards and three touchdowns...tall and speedy......has the ability to find a crease in the defense and pile up yards...an award-calibre season would be no surprise.

AT TECH (IN 2014): Steve got into the action in all 12 games in his junior year, starting half of those contests including the final four...caught passes in nine games, finishing with 13 catches for 113 yards...three catches for 17 yards against Murray State...ranked fourth on the quad in receiving...co-winner of the team's 2015 Academic Award.

(IN 2013): Steve played in all 12 games as a sophomore and was a constant threat when he was on the field running routes...really developed into a consistent blocker...had a season-high four catches for 39 yards against UT Martin...grabbed his third career touchdown with a six-yard reception against Tennessee State...caught passes in 10 out of 12 games...caught three passes for 23 yards in the Golden Eagle shutout at Austin Peay...finished the season with 18 catches for 190 yards, both numbers that ranked third on the team.

(IN 2012): Steve saw action in nine games and finished the year with six catches for 86 yards...caught two touchdown passes, including a 38-yard reception over the middle on a deflected ball at Southeast Missouri...that game against the Redhawks, his only career start, proved to be his career-best with two catches for 48 yards...also hauled in two catches the next week at Murray State for 19 yards and a touchdown.

(IN 2011): Wilson spent his first season on the Golden Eagle roster as a redshirt working with the scout teams.

HIGH SCHOOL: Steve was a multi-dimensional threat at Smyrna High School, helping the Bulldogs reach the TSSAA Class 5-A quarterfinals in 2008 and place as the 2010 Class 6-A runnerup...the team posted a 13-2 record in his senior season with him in the pocket...he was twice named all-District 7-AAA, and was also an all-region pick...completed 60 percent of his career pass attempts for 3,470 yards and 36 touchdowns with just 10 interceptions...rushed for 850 yards and four touchdowns...in his senior campaign, he was 128-for-212 for 1,650 yards and 13 touchdowns with six picks, and rushed for 600 yards.
