Tevin has worked hard since joining the Golden Eagle roster following a transfer from Appalachian State before the 2012 season...has spent his time well in the Athletic Performance Center in developing his strength and agility... saw limited action in 2012, and enters the 2013 campaign listed at the field cornerback position on the TTU depth chart.

AT TECH (IN 2012): Tevin played in four games for the Golden Eagles in his debut season in Cookeville...made two tackles, one unassisted, and broke up a pass on Nov. 17 at Austin Peay.

In 2011 (Appalachian State): Was a redshirt at Appalachian State.

HIGH SCHOOL: A two-way standout at McMinn County High School in Athens, Tenn...recorded 160 tackles and five interceptions as a safety over the final two years of his prep career, including 75 stops and three interceptions (with 205 return yards) as a senior...had two 100-yard interception returns during high-school career...caught 76 passes for 775 yards and five touchdowns over final two seasons (30 rec., 423 yds, 3 TD as a senior)...added rushing to his repertoire as a senior, carrying the ball 56 times for 387 yards and seven scores...earned first-team all-state recognition as a DB following senior campaign...three-time all-region honoree ... was the Region 2-5A Sophomore of the Year in 2007...participated in 2009 East vs. West Tennessee All-Star Football Classic ... coached by Bo Cagle.
